Premiere of the new collection: Reflection of Light

We have just launched Willem Wouters’ new collection of wall sculptures, Reflection of Light. Known for his refined sculptural practice, the artist now brings his vision to the wall with works that unite architecture, transparency and movement.

Each piece is hand cast in layered resin without the addition of other materials. This approach reveals the pure essence of the medium as subtle variations in light and color create ever changing visual effects. When viewed from different angles, the artworks appear to shift and breathe with the surrounding space.

The Reflection of Light collection is the culmination of years of dedicated research and material experimentation. It expands the expressive potential of resin and presents a minimal yet dynamic body of work that moves between sculpture and light installation.

The Artist and His Approach

Willem Wouters is a Belgian architect and artist whose practice connects design, architecture and sculpture. He studied at the Catholic University of Leuven in Ghent and at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona. His architectural language developed further through professional experience at leading studios in Paris, after which he returned to Belgium in 2015 to establish his own studio.

His work follows a minimalist and architectural sensibility with a balance between geometric clarity and organic depth. Through continuous experimentation, he developed a distinct and innovative technique that brings together craftsmanship, material precision and spatial awareness.

Each artwork is handmade and unique with a refined interplay of light, transparency and texture. In his creations, resin becomes both structure and emotion. The works offer a meditative reflection on form, perception and space.
