Rep Ringel is a self-made Dutch artist with deep creative roots. Raised in an artistic family with a fashion designer mother and a poet father, he was encouraged early on to explore and develop his own voice.

Music has always been central to Rep’s life. After a career as a DJ and graphic designer with an award winning agency in the fashion and beauty world, he shifted his focus to painting. His large abstract canvases are created while listening to a single piece of music on repeat, with each layer of sound translated into paint. This gives his work rhythm, movement and emotional depth.

Nature inspires his palette, with tones drawn from earth, water, fire and air. His works often include metallic touches and 24 carat gold. A digital chip sealed into each canvas contains a certificate of authenticity and details about the artwork.
