Rep Ringel, a self-made individual, was born and raised in the Netherlands within an artistic family. His mother, a fashion designer graduate, and his father, a poet, granted him the freedom to nurture his creativity and explore his artistic side, which significantly influenced his life and career choices.

One of Rep’s greatest passions is music; during his teenage years, he would explore record stores in search of new, original, and exceptional music. Consequently, it was no surprise when Rep embarked on a career as a deejay.

Seeking new challenges and opportunities to enhance his creativity, Rep developed an interest in graphic design. Through education and internships, he successfully transitioned into a Graphic Designer. Operating his award-winning agency, Ringel Design, he predominantly catered to clients in the fashion, beauty, and cosmetic industries.

Driven by a desire to further hone his talents and inspired by music, fashion, and design, Rep delved into creating art: crafting large abstract paintings on canvas. His unique approach involves applying acrylic paint unconventionally, with each painting created to the rhythm of a specific song or track. By translating the layers of music onto the canvas, his artworks exude depth, mystery, and rhythm. Initially drawn to earth tones due to nature's influence, Rep now finds inspiration in elements like water, fire, and air, resulting in artworks featuring blues, whites, and orange-reds. He often incorporates metallic and 24k gold elements, and to add a distinctive touch, each painting includes a chip with special information, a certificate of authenticity, and ownership details sealed with wax. The paintings are named after the corresponding music piece or the musician/composer.
