Barbara Cox is a Belgian artist living near Brussels whose vibrant and imaginative work has earned strong international recognition. She is known for her distinctive Abstract Pop style, in which intuitive abstraction meets the visual strength of Pop Art, resulting in an instantly recognisable artistic language.
Her work is included in important private collections across several countries, and she exhibits regularly at leading contemporary art fairs and exhibitions in Belgium, France, Switzerland and Great Britain. Her symbolic visual vocabulary, including strawberries, eyes and the Barb’Happy characters, has become widely recognised and strongly associated with her artistic identity.
A major milestone in her career is her collaboration with the prestigious Belgian jewellery house Wolfers. This collaboration led to Radiance of Dreams, a limited collection of exclusive rings that translate her iconic symbols into fine jewellery, marking a significant crossover between contemporary art and high jewellery.
A major announcement planned for 2026 will mark an important new chapter in Barbara Cox’s career, further reinforcing her growing international presence and artistic ambition.
Collection: Renaissance
With Renaissance, Barbara Cox explores upcycling as a poetic act of transformation. The collection began when the artist discovered damaged and forgotten sculptures at a flea market and chose to give them a new future.
Through careful cleaning, sanding and restoration, each piece is reborn in Barbara Cox’s Abstract Pop universe, filled with colour, joy and dreamlike energy. Renaissance celebrates renewal and resilience, reminding us that light and colour can always return, even after moments of fragility.
